Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She co-founded The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, TV personality writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than ten years. She is also the owner of The Huffington Post, an independently-liberal online newsmagazine. Originally from Greece she moved to England when she was 16 and was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The first graduate from outside the UK to serve as the president of The Cambridge Union at the age of 21. She was a conservative syndicated writer after her graduation. When The Huffington Post launched a few years following, she launched an online voice platform with a critique of current politics. Her fame and popularity helped by attracting a variety of high-profile contributors to share their opinions about news from the world of politics and culture. Arianna became famous in 2003 as she stood in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Aside from that, Arianna led the Detroit initiative that promoted fuel efficient cars. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as the most influential female media personality, taking the 12th place on the list. The same year the Guardian named her to the top 100 of media lists. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in 2011. She was then made the President of AOL's media group. It included a number of AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. The parents of her were Elli as well as Konstantinos Stasinopoulos. They were who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist. Her life was shaped through her relationship with her mother as well as her relationship with her father, even though she was very close to the latter. Through her early years, she exhibited the qualities of a leader for which are still prominently known. When she was in her 16th year she returned to the UK to pursue her studies and was enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. In her college years she was a member of Cambridge Union. Cambridge Union debating group where she became the first woman and the sole foreign president. In 1972, she earned the degree of master's in Economics. Following after graduation she was an editor of the critic's column and a television host. Also, she appeared on the show Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books taking editorial help from Bernard Levin.
