Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer who is regarded as being a part of the group One Direction. He is the father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own band, composed of 3 classmates. The band was dubbed White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in the Battle of Bands 2010. Although he has been a fan of music, the man also had a dream of becoming an attorney or physiotherapist. For a while he worked as a part-time baker within his town and hoped to assist financially at home. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. This meant that his band needed to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band called One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. The group sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which made them one of the leading contenders to win the contest. However, they finished third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid two million pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
