Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English, half Spanish. Parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming from each of her parents' previous marriages. The family resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was traumatic, and refused to study English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was ordered to move schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. At 16, she left the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as model for professional models.
